"I contacted you a few months ago for advice on working with Olympic athletes. I just wanted to let you know that I recently returned from a 2-week rotation at the Olympic Training Center at Lake Placed, NY. I was there to work with the athletes during the World Cup races for bobsled and skeleton. It was an incredible experience and I once again used knowledge I have gained from your seminars. Whether it is with my private clients, working with Cirque du Soleil or now the USOC, I often credit you and your seminars for giving a stronger focus to my work?h.

"I have been attending James' seminars since I started massage school in 1999, and each year I have attended his seminars at least twice per year. James is an excellent and caring teacher. I have left each seminar with so much knowledge and practical skills. In the four years of my massage practice I have been able to help my clients understand the importance of taking charge of their health, thanks to the skills James has taught me. I have had amazing results using James' techniques. I have been able to release hip and shoulder adhesions. I have been able to determine which muscles needed released and which nedded to be strengthened. Best of all I have been able to teach my clients about scar tissue, tight bands and joint capsule adhesions. Because I have been able to educate my clients I have more work from referrals than I ever thought possible. James has made me become the professional I am today. Thank you."

- Since my first pregnancy in 1980, when my son dropped into the birth canal 12 weeks before delivery, I have dealt with chronic sciatic nerve pain. It was further exasperated by my job, which required constant repetitive twisting of my sacral-lumbar spine. By October, 1999, when I attended James Waslaski's two-day seminar on massage for sports injury and chronic pain, doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists had seen me. I'd had x-rays and neural-reflexive tests. I was taking painkillers, anti-inflammatories, and muscle relaxants. I had no feeling in my toes and numbness in my right foot. I'd lost all superficial sensation on the lateral portion of my right leg and had sharp pains and tingling sensations in my gluteal and "deep six" muscles. I also had a shuffling, shortened gait due to restricted range of motion. I was suffering, so I volunteered to be Mr. Waslaski's case example for relief of chronic sciatica. In just fifteen minutes, applying his techniques, Mr. Waslaski released my overly tight ilio-psoas and "QL" muscles, realigning my pelvis. Then he eased the taut bands of the "deep six" lateral rotator muscles relieving my sciatic pain. Finally, he relaxed the tense quadriceps and hamstring muscles restoring full range of motion to my lower extremities. When I got off his table, I felt like a miracle had happened. For the first time in a year, I felt my toes! There was no numbness, no tingling, and no pain in my leg. I suddenly had full range of motion in my right leg and a normal gait. But this was only the beginning of the miracle. The following year my health insurance company finally approved a MRI scan as the numbness and tingling had returned. They discovered that I had a severely herniated disc at the L5-S1 vertebral joint and a mild herniation of my L4-L5 disc. Both herniations were pushing on the sciatic nerve plexus. My orthopedic specialist was quite surprised that I did not have "drop foot" due to lost neural function and that I was still able to work. After my operation, a combined laminectomy and micro-discectomy, the specialist explained how the inner portion of disc L5-S1 had completely exploded out onto the sciatic nerve crushing it. He said it was a miracle that I had not been bedridden in excruciating pain for months prior to my procedure.
I credit my "miracle" to James Waslaski's multi-disciplinary approach to balancing the anatomical structures of the body, to re-education of the neural-muscular response, and to his empowering the client in their own rehabilitation by giving them simple exercises to follow. His methods are practical, easy to learn, easily applied and the results are tremendous. God be praised for creating the gifted, compassionate man you are Jim. Thank you for desiring to ease your fellowman's pain.

Thank you so much for the seminar on Orthopedic Massage last weekend at Boca Raton. As a person that experiences Attention Defecit Disorder, I find many seminars do not reach my expectations on capturing my attention during the course of time I spend there. Many times, I find myself hesitant to attend a classroom setting and wonder if I will be able to process the information handed out. Often times I have left discouraged and overwhelmed by the amount of information we're asked to apply after the seminars and in our practice.
Not the case with your seminar! The diverse methods that you used during the weekend were outstanding to say the least. There was not a moment I did not feel challenged and stimulated in my work. Your efforts in bringing video, teaching assistants, multi dimensional views of the body and hands on work was superb. I felt as though my time, energy and money were truly invested. I'm happy to say that I was able to apply the work you introduced to me on Monday morning because of your teaching methods. Thank you so much for placing yourself in the student's shoes and knowing that we all do not learn alike! Kind Regards, Michelle Orchid Rodriguez, L.M.T Advanced Chiropractic & Medical Centers, Miami Florida
